Artist Statement

I work with a material immediacy that is apparent in my artworks, as my inspiration is largely drawn from the materials themselves. Found furniture, used appliances, fabrics, and other intimate materials with their own histories, stories, and memories inform my process. My work is an exploration of bodies, figurative and literal consumption, value, memory, and authentic interaction. I hope to create art that is an invitation for moments of introspection and conversation.
